Aufgabe: “Žinau, ką renku” (Learn before you vote) is a Lithuanian youth initiative that tries to improve voter literacy and ensure transparency in politics. The initiative started, when a team of volunteers created a virtual platform for watchdogging of 2014 European Parliament and Lithuanian Presidential elections. The platform enabled direct virtual communication between voters and those seeking office. Via this platform people are able to ask questions about political intentions, election promises, actions after elections, etc. Do You know any initiatives similar to “Learn before you vote”? Are they international, or operating just in Your country? Could You, please, describe them in a few sentences (what are the differences, how do they work, did they achieve any political change?).
